Lessons On Blogging: What Passing Out Flyers Can Teach You

March 31st, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging Experiment

Passing Out Flyers & BloggingDid you ever think you could learn about how to make money blogging from passing out flyers? Yesterday afternoon I was helping a friend pass out flyers at their appartment complex, and several thoughts came to mind. It’s a ministry they provide where they sponsor events for people in the complex and organize things like parties and dinners for those in the community.

It’s a really great service, and to let people know about the month’s activities, they must manually put out flyers at each of the 35+ buildings. For those who have lived in an apartment before, you can appreciate how much of a workout it would be to trek up and down 150 flights of stairs (so I volunteered to assist).

Along the way, I couldn’t help but draw several parallels to those who are successful in the world of blogging, and hopefully these few insights will help you in your business (and yes, this is an actual flight of stairs I climbed yesterday).

Don’t Retrace Your Steps

I’m always trying to find ways to maximize results and minimize the work involved. As I learned the lay of the land yesterday, I quickly came up with a path where I could minimize the actual number of steps I had to take to get to each door. By glancing over the layout of the buildings, I realized that if I followed more of a serpentine path I could hit all the doors in the quickest time, and subsequently get done with my section quicker.

Immediately I hit the ground running (walking) and set off to get started. It didn’t take me long to realize that this was by far the superior path to take. Instead of just going around the building, or hitting one hallway then just looking for the next one, it dawned on me that having a plan was critical to this important point of not retracing already tracked steps.

It works the same for blogging. Do you find that you spend 90% of your time thinking about design only to go back and change a theme once a “better” one comes along? Do you spend the better part of your energy dreaming about what your blog can become and not actually writing any content? Do reading forum posts, the latest “opportunity of the day” from the gurus, or any other number of things keep you from actually doing the menial and tedious things required to make money with a blog?

If you answered yes, than make today the day to change.

The basics to making money online are pretty straightforward.

Create value, answer questions, and do it in a way that engages a community and develops a relationship with your customers and readers. People buy from people and brands they know. If you’re the brand, make sure they know YOU.

There, you have it. Give me $1000 bucks for my “secret” if you want, but believe it or not, the actual “secret” to making money online is as simple as that phrase in one form or another. It’s how I approach every website I develop or purchase, and it’s a key point to actually making money. It’s not hard, we make it hard.

After I made a couple missteps yesterday and ended up having to go back and retrace steps I had already taken, I realized that we all do this in our online businesses. Once you find a nice theme, stick with it. People won’t care if it’s 2 or 3-column, they just want good content or answers to their questions. Once you’ve learned the basics to Wordpress, installed a theme/plugins, and done a few tweaks to make it more SEO friendly and to your liking, LEAVE IT ALONE. Start writing content and link building (the two most important factors to building a blog you can actually make money with). Don’t retrace your steps. Move forward.

There’s Actual People On The Other Side Of The Door (or Computer)

After hitting about 20 residences, my entrepreneur mind started kicking in…

‘If I owned this complex, I would have roughly X people paying me $X per month, and heck, everyone needs a place to live. Then, if I…”

I was taken aback by the sheer numbers. Every one of the 100 or so doors I visited was a REAL person paying REAL money to live in this complex. Furthermore, they spend money on groceries, going out to dinner/movies, telling their friends about this great deal they got on a new piece of furniture, and all these things that someone in some industry was making money from.

Immediately, I began to consider how each one of these people could become part of my business, a customer of MINE, someone I could be providing a service too and getting paid in return (after all, that’s the point of this whole thing anyway, getting revenue in return for a product or service you provide).

Now all this is well and fine, and I challenge each of you to always be thinking of ways to find new customers for your blog or website, but I used the heading I did for an even more important reason.

To GET these customers, someone working for that complex had to put out a sign, place a radio spot, or do any number of things to attract them to the sale office. Once there, a salesperson had to give them a tour, answer questions, follow up with them if necessary, and still there’s no guarantee of getting anything in return. It’s all unpaid, pay it forward work that is focused on getting that person signed up to become a tennant.

Your blog or website is the exact same. No one is going to pay you to but that domain, get a hosting account, put a website together, write content, or answer customers questions. You do it because you have the end result in mind. You WANT to be home with your kids. You WANT to be able to work from home and make you own hours. You want, want, want. In order to get that desire in return, you have to do the prerequisites that DON’T give you anything back (just yet).

One of my favorite authors is C.S. Lewis, and in his book The Weight Of Glory, he said a line that can be easily adopted here:

The only people who achieve much are those who want knowledge so badly that they seek it while the conditions are still unfavorable.

Isn’t that the truth? I love how simple and powerful that sentence is.

To GET customers, you must toil while the “conditions are still unfavorable.” To actually KEEP these people as your customers, you must remember they are real people on the other end of the computer and not just numbers in a tracking software. I’ll check my stats sometimes, see the number of visitors that came to one of my sites, and almost immediately they seem to be more binary code and numbers than actual people.

If you want to be successful online, you must remember and treat your customers/readers as the real people they are. People with fears, apprehensions, questions, opinions, judgements, all of it.

It’s your job to establish the relationship with them so they know you have their interest ahead of your own. They want to know you connect with them, their problem, or their need. Once you establish that dynamic, and mean it…you’re as good as gold. Don’t try to fake it though. People can just as easily see impersonations of the real thing. We all have that voice in the back of our head. Genuinely care about the needs and wants of your customers or readers, it’s the best business to build.

How To Add A Forum To Wordpress

March 25th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging, Blogging Experiment

For those interested in learning how to add a forum to your Wordpress site or blog, bbPress is a nice program from the creators of Wordpress to help you do just that.

bbPress

Like Wordpress, bbPress’ focus is on web standards and due to the fact that Wordpress is becoming the defacto platform for blogs and websites in general, having a forum software created by the same people is a real plus.

If you’ve ever done any extensive research online for adding a forum to your blog, you’ll quickly realize there are not many highly customizable and professional solutions for those using Wordpress. Since bbPress has been created by the same people behind Wordpress, if you like WP, chances are you will like bbPress.

One point to remember: bbPress is still in a sort of “working beta” stage, and it is definitely not as easy to integrate as your typical plugin (it’s not a plugin). It is a standalone program that can be integrated with Wordpress, where for example, a person can register for your site through Wordpress or bbPress and not have to register twice - once for the site and once for the forum - so that is nice.

When it comes time to install bbPress, they provide great documentation and a pretty good forum (using bbPress if you want to check it out) to answer questions you may have.

Personally, I found a person through the forum that I hired to install/customize it a bit for me, and if you’d like to know his name, contact me and I’ll pass on his information. For the most part, however the installation should be pretty straight forward, and if you’re looking for a good forum software for Wordpress, I think you’ll really appreciate the simplicity and elegance of bbPress.

Do You Follow Rules Or Results

March 23rd, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging Experiment, Blogging Lessons, Internet Marketing

When the rubber hits the road, and you begin to put real effort into making money online with a blog, website, or affiliate business, do you follow rules or results?

Following Rules

The “rules” crowd likes to know every in and out, every nuance, tip, and strategy before they put any real effort into their project. It feels good, they would say, to read the “10 Tips For This,” and the “10 Strategies For That.” They typically suffer from paralysis of analysis and over analyze everything before they actually do anything. Does that sound like you? Do you suffer from following a rules mindset?

Taking it a step further, and when you really think about it, the rules mindset only gets you so far. Not only are “rules” what every average joe looks to follow when starting a blog, online business or the like, but by following the vast majority of people when it comes to making money online, you’ll end up with results the vast majority encounter: nothing.

It’s a sobering reality, but one you must be aware of. The point here is to make money online. That’s the end goal. To achieve it, let me suggest following the results driven strategy.

Following Results

Let me tell you a little story about me to help prove this point.

Over 4 years ago, I stumbled into internet marketing by doing what many of you have done in the past or did to make it to our site: search for how to make money online.

I was in college at the time, and since most college students are always looking for ways to make extra money, I decided the internet was a good place to start. Who wouldn’t want to work online and make money?

Almost immediately, I discovered an ad with the headline “$300/Hr In College?”

I clicked the ad and was taken to a site where several work at home opportunities were reviewed (and ranked, or course) all so I could make money online (at least that’s what the site owner was saying). I was immediately intrigued by the idea, but my first question was, ‘Why would someone want to be nice enough to just share this information with me…what’s in it for them?’

Remember, at this time, I have no idea what internet marketing, blogs, or affiliate marketing is…I just started with the premise of searching on Google for how to make money online.

After browsing around the site for a while, I noticed that when I clicked on a recommendation, a new window would open, and for a split second a different URL would show in the browser before it finally resolved to the recommended website. It was so fast that I could only make out one letter at a time. After each click I would get a new letter that finally spelled out: C-L-I-C-K-B-A-N-K.

From there I went back to Google and typed in Clickbank, found their site, and discovered that they were this marketplace for digital products. It didn’t take me long to put two and two together. The site I had visited was recommending products from the Clickbank marketplace, and each time a visitor made a purchase from one of his recommendations he was making money.

From that moment, I was immediately more interested in learning how to market products and services online than doing any of the “opportunities” listed on his website. I caught the internet marketing bug, and there was no looking back.

Now…I tell you this story only because discovering that site was not only my foray into building several internet businesses, it helped me learn from day 1 to follow the results mindset.

After I discovered this work at home review site, I did some more keyword searches and saw that this guy was everywhere. He had hundreds and thousands of ads up for thousands of keywords, and from what I could tell was getting a sizable amount of traffic to his website.

Now at this time, I had no idea of any sort of tool to calculate site traffic, there was no SpyFu or KeywordSpy to see which keywords he was bidding on…I had to do it the old fashioned way: trial and error.

Through another series of events (a long story) I discovered that this affiliate was in fact one of the largest affiliates for the product he was promoting, and when I put all those results together (thousands of ads/keywords, a top affiliate for the product he was promoting) I had my model.

When you find someone with proven results, the smart money models their success. I could have spent my time learning about the difference between web design strategies, onsite optimization techniques, and keyword density, OR I could simply use this website as a model (not to copy) for where to to start.

And that’ what I did. Thankfully, I was able to use that one website to learn the importance of a results driven focus. Something I feel has made all the difference in the world.

Here are some actionable things you can do today to start following results:

  • Search for your desired keywords on Google and examine the top 10 results. How are their sites designed? How often are the keywords used? What type of language is used (casual, professional, personal)?
  • Make a spread sheet or word document and write down characteristics of those sites and see which ones overlap (maybe 7 of the 10 sites for Keyword A use the same 2-panel style layout or the length of the article/content are all around 650 words).
  • Be sure to take note of any Adwords ads you see often for your desired keywords. If there are lots of ads for one site, you should review their sales pitch, layout, etc because most likely they’re making good money AND they are paying for the traffic.

The key to the results mindset is to be aware. Be mindful of the successful websites in your niche or industry by following some of the tips above. Always remember that rules can be important, but results are what you want.

Best Wordpress Themes Of 2009 (Free & Premium)

March 18th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging Experiment

When it comes to running a successful blog, having the right theme is critical. Not being a “designer” myself, I marvel at the creative work produced by Wordpress developers. Since it’s always nice to have a few extra themes lying around (I’ve got 58 in waiting), I thought this edition of Wordpress Wednesdays could be focused on the all important Wordpress Theme. It can be a real challenge to find quality, nice looking themes, so here are my favorite resources.

Free Wordpress Themes

Design Disease

Design Disease features several very nice free wordpress themes. Just use the drop down menu at the top to preview them, then download as needed.

BlogOhBlog

BlogOhBlog was one of the first free wordpress theme sites I found, and let’s just say I continue to go back. Jai is very helpful and extremely reasonable for minor customization work.

SkinPress

Another great site for free wordpress themes, SkinPress does require the site credits to be left in place, but I think you can pay them like $25 to have it removed. Either way, they’ve got some nice themes.

AskGraphics

A sister site to SkinPress, AskGraphics has a few more free wp themes to browse. Same rules apply for the site credits.

Top WP Themes

Top WP Themes cranks out free wordpress themes like nobody’s business. The quality isn’t always the best, but you’ve got to give them credit for the sheer number of themes they produce.

N.Design Studio

N.Design Studio seems to do more custom design work, but they do have a couple free themes to download, and as you can tell from their website, they most certainly have an eye for design. Be sure to check out iTheme. It’s based off the Mac OS and has a nifty drag and drop sidebar.

Premium Wordpress Themes

ElegantThemes

I’m currently a member of Elegant Themes, and all I can say is this is the best deal for premium wordpress themes on the internet - hands down. For $19.95 per YEAR (not month) you get unlimited access and use to all of Nick Roach’s top notch custom themes. He seems to add a new one every month on top of the 21 premium themes already created.

The support is fantastic, with a member’s forum and email help, and for $20 you just can’t get a better deal. I strongly recommend Elegant Themes for premium wordpress themes.

WooThemes

I’m also currently a paid member to WooThemes, and even though it’s more expensive than Elegant Themes, they offer some of the most unique, feature rich themes available today. Better yet, they offer several free Wordpress themes that are better than most premium themes other sites sell, so either way be sure to pick up the free ones. I use WooThemes themes on more projects than any other premium or free theme site.

They are definitely worth the money, but it’s hard to compete with Elegant Theme’s $20/year price. If you don’t mind paying a little more (about $70 per theme or $150-$225 to join the club) they are definitely worth joining. From video themes to lifestreams and everything in between, WooThemes is the most popular premium wordpress theme site for a reason, and they deserve it!

Did We Miss Any?

Feel free to post other high quality wordpress theme sites (free or premium) in the comments below. Now go find a nice looking theme and make some money!

Can You Really Make Money From Dropshipping?

March 16th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging Experiment, Make Money Online

There are lots of ways to make money on the internet. In this article, I’ll share with you some of the pros and cons of selling real, physical products online.

1) Dropshipping

A lot of people think dropshipping is a great business opportunity. If you don’t know what dropshipping is, here are the basics…

A dropshipping company buys inventory directly from a manufacturer and stores it in their warehouse. As a client of the dropshipping company, they allow you to sell whatever products they have. If you sell something, you pay the dropshipper for the product plus shipping, and they ship it to your customer for you.

Sounds awesome, right?

Well, if it were that simple it would be awesome. Here’s the problem…

When you use a dropshipper, you are paying for the convenience of not having to deal with inventory yourself. Typically you end up paying a lot more for the products you are selling and a lot of times you have to pay additional shipping & handling fees, dropship fees, and possibly a monthly membership fee just to use their program.

Here’s a real life example:

Let’s say you want to sell coffee pots online. You find a dropshipper that carries the coffee pot you want to sell. The coffee pot has a retail price of $120 and your cost from the dropshipper is $90. They charge a $4 dropship fee and $12 to ship the item to your customer if you sell it.

If you sell a coffee pot for $120 and charge your customers $7.95 shipping (to stay competitive), here is what the numbers look like:

$127.95 (total you receive from your customer)
- $90 (your cost to buy the product from the dropshipper)
- $4 (dropshipping fee)
- $12 (shipping fee charged by dropshipper)
————————————————————————
$21.95 profit in your pocket.

Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

Not so fast. In most cases, people shop online to save money, so you have to reduce the price of the product by at least 15% to actually sell anything online.

Let’s look at the numbers again.

If you take 15% off your coffee pot so you can actually sell it, you sell the coffee pot for $102 ($120 - 15% off) and then charge your customers $7.95 shipping (to stay competitive). Here is how the new numbers break down:

$109.95 (total you receive from your customer)
- $90 (your cost to buy the product from the dropshipper)
- $4 (dropshipping fee)
- $12 (shipping fee charged by dropshipper)
———————————————————————
$3.95 profit in your pocket. Ouch! Hardly worth the effort now…

And that doesn’t include any expenses you have in making that sale such as advertising, credit card processing fees, etc.

I don’t know about you, but selling a product for $109.95 and only making a profit of $3.95 is not very exciting. Sad thing is, that’s how most dropshipping arrangements work.

2) Buying Wholesale

Now for the good news.

Rather than forking over most of your profits to a dropshipping company, you should consider buying inventory directly from the manufacturer instead. Typically, this will allow you to buy products at 50% off the retail price instead of the 25% off you were getting from the dropshipper (dropshippers mark everything up 25% on average).

Now let’s look at the numbers when you buy products direct instead of using a dropshipper.

Again, using the same theory of selling your coffee pot at 15% off the retail price…

$109.95 (total you receive from your customer)
- $60 (your cost to buy the product direct from the manufacturer)
- $12 (shipping fee charged by UPS)
————————————————————————
$37.95 profit in your pocket.

Hmmm, $37.95 profit compared to $3.95. That’s the difference between a thriving business and one destined for failure.

I know what your saying to yourself.

You don’t want to buy inventory, store it in your garage, spend 2 hours a day printing shipping labels, shipping out orders and driving to the post office or UPS everyday. And that makes perfect sense.

But what if you didn’t have to do any of these things and can still make those huge profits at the same time?

There is a service out there called Shipping Elite (http://www.shippingelite.com) that does all of that for you and it costs you next to nothing to use their service.

Here’s how it works.

1) You buy merchandise from whatever product sourcing technique you want.

2) You have that inventory shipped directly to the Shipping Elite warehouses.

3) You sell your inventory on ebay, through your website, etc.

4) Shipping Elite packages your orders, puts the labels on & ships them out to your customers within 24 hours.

It’s just like dropshipping, but you get to keep all your profits instead of giving it to a dropshipping company.

Shipping Elite charges a small fee to store your products in their website. It’s just $0.02 per day per item stored with them. So, if you send them 50 coffee pots, you only pay $1 per day in storage.

As you sell products, your storage fee goes down each day to match however many items remain in their warehouse.

The shipping fee Shipping Elite charges is a flat rate based on the weight of your orders and it’s pretty much the same price you would pay to ship things out yourself. Also, since you are charging your customers for shipping anyway, you can pass that cost on to them and it costs you nothing out of pocket.

With Shipping Elite, anybody looking to get into dropshipping can make a lot of money online with almost no effort and minimal cost. You can check out their website for exact pricing and to learn more about how it works.

84% Of Comments Are Spam!

March 11th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blogging Experiment

In this installment of Wordpress Wendesdays I want to talk about a plugin I have used with great success. As the post states, about 84% of all comments are spam according to Akismet.com.

I was shocked when I read that number.

In order to deal with the growing onslaught of blog spam, CMS’s like Wordpress have had to develop technologies that prevent all those “Buy Viagra Here,” comments, while at the same time allow real user comments to make it through.

Along the way, I’ve tested several different plugins to help combat spam, and I wanted to share one with you that has really impressed me.

Discovering this plugin was the result of another equally challenging dilemma for me: how to find a good contact form, and although a spam blocker with a built-in contact form might seem like an unlikely pairing, I’ve really enjoyed this one.

Several contact forms are either too complicated for me to understand quickly (I wanted something that was basically point, click, work) or not robust enough in terms of features/customization.

While searching one day, I stumbled across WP-Spamfree. Here’s a little more information about it (we’ll start with the spam blocker features).

WP-Spamfree Spam Blocker [my comments]

  1. Virtually eliminates automated comment spam from bots. It works like a firewall to ensure that your commenters are in fact, human. [nice, sounds good]
  2. A counter on your dashboard to keep track of all the spam it’s blocking. The numbers will show how effective this plugin is. [not as big a deal to me]
  3. No CAPTCHA’s, challenge questions or other inconvenience to site visitors - it works silently in the background. [really like this feature...who likes captchas anyway]
  4. Includes drop-in spam-free contact form. Easy to use - no configuration necessary. [want I originally wanted]
  5. No false positives, which leads to fewer frustrated readers, and less work for you. [not sure what this means...but it sounds good :)]
  6. You won’t have to waste valuable time sifting through a spam queue anymore, because there won’t be much there, if anything. [awesome]
  7. Powerful trackback and pingback spam protection. [good]
  8. Easy to install - truly plug and play. Just upload and activate. (Installation Status on the plugin admin page to let you know if plugin is installed correctly.) [very accurate description]
  9. The beauty of this plugin is the methods of blocking spam. It takes a different approach than most and stops spam at the door. [like that]
  10. The code has an extremely low bandwidth overhead and won’t slow down your blog (very light database access), unlike some other anti-spam plugins. [nice. I don't like having numerous plugins running for this very reason]
  11. Completely compatible with all cache plugins, including WP Cache and WP Super Cache. Not all anti-spam plugins can say that. [true]
  12. Display your blocked spam stats on your blog. [don't personally care about this one]
  13. Works in WordPress MU as well. [not necessary for most of us]

So that pretty much sums up their spam blocker - it works beautifully. But as I said, the original search was for a nice, easy to use contact form, so here’s some information on that part.

Their documentation sums things up quite nicely, but in case you don’t want to read through it, here’s the process:

WP-Spamfree Contact Form

  1. Download then install to your plugin directory
  2. Activate the plugin
  3. Click on Settings > Wp-Spamfree > Scroll down to “Adding A Contact Form To Your Blog”
  4. Copy this code: <!–spamfree-contact–> and add it to a new page (not a post)
  5. Your done.
  6. (This plugin even tells you whether the plugin is working correctly on the settings page)

Seriously. That’s it. On the settings page for the plugin you can change which fields you want displayed to your visitors, so if you only want their name, email, subject, and message then simply deselect all the check marked boxes under the “Contact Form Options” section then click “Update Settings.” Further down the page, you can also select the email where you want the messages to go.

You can add custom fields, use their default fields, anything you like.

This is one of those 2-3 plugins that I install on every single Wordpress site/blog. If you’re looking for a good contact form (and/or spam blocker), I highly recommend WP-Spamfree.

What do you think? Are there any other contact forms or spam blockers for Wordpress that you really like?

Optimize Your Blog: Part 1

March 9th, 2009 | Comments Off | Posted in Blog Optimization, Blogging Experiment, Blogging Lessons

So you’ve got a blog. Now what?

In this series of posts I’ll be covering several strategies to maximize your blogs potential with proper optimization. How can you be both search engine and user friendly at the same time? It’s a tough balancing act at times, but if you really want to make money blogging, you must start with a properly optimized blog.

Display Your Keywords First And Often

Let’s use Blogging Experiment as an example. For almost 2 years now, BE has been a content driven resource teaching people how to make money. The topics include blogging, internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and how to buy and sell websites. While the topics are varied, the general them is consistent: how to make money online.

For this reason, a list of popular keywords that BE wants to rank well for (and subsequently write content for) must be related to these keywords.

Currently, our site ranks well for a number of keywords related to the topics listed above, but as I started browsing through the site, I noticed a couple key areas where further optimization would help even more.

Navigation Bar

Starting with the navigation bar, I changed “Home” to “Make Money.” For those who don’t know, the anchor text (the phrase used to describe the link - in our example “Make Money”) is very important in search engine rankings. By keeping the word “Home” as the anchor text pointing back to your home page you are inadvertently telling the search engines that your home page is trying to rank for the phrase “Home.”

Because 99.9% of other websites just leave the word “Home” as the anchor text to your home page, you are now competing with virtually every other website online for the keyword “Home.”

Furthermore, in our example, the navigation bar is the first text our site displays. Not all sites have the navigation set up like this, but this makes it even more critical in our situation.

Those top links are the first introductions search engines have to our site after going through the title tag and meta description. For this reason, we want to make sure that they (the search engines) quickly realize what this site is about. By making “Make Money” our anchor text with the link back to our home page, we let the first on-site text be a very keyword rich phrase in which we want to rank.

If you want to use the word “Home,” at least try to fit in one of your targeted keywords somewhere close to the top.

The second part is to display your keywords often.

Remember, often doesn’t mean trying to keyword stuff every article or page with your targeted keywords. Instead, it simply means to be aware of the keywords in which you want to rank and use them strategically throughout your site. Consistency is the key here. Be aware of your targeted phrases and use them wisely.

Don’t Forget The Footer

Just as important as it is to have the search engine see your keyword phrase somewhere close to the top of your site, it’s equally important to include that same phrase, or even a little different variation of that phrase (what I recommend) at the bottom in your footer.

Footer

As you can see, instead of using the phrase “Make Money” like we used in the navigation bar, this time we used another target keyword: “make money online.”

We want the search engines to see that our site, more specifically our home page since that’s where the links point, are directly related to each other. The next step is to make sure that your content actually reflects information related to those key phrases. Meaning: don’t just pick your best two keywords, put them in your header and footer then talk about completely unrelated topics on your site.

That’s not what this is about.

Optimization by it’s definition is to modify a system to make some aspect of it work more efficiently or use fewer resources. Taking the time to do these little “detail” things are what separate the mediocre sites from the ones who actually make money. Granted, optimization will not necessarily put money in your pockets directly, but a better optimized site means more traffic which ultimately means more money.

These tips work great with optimizing wordpress, other blog platforms, or any website in general.
